Possibility for showers over the Island is lesser.
Light showers will occur in Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and Galle and Matara districts.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at few places in Eastern and Uva provinces after 2.00 p.m.
Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and the public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.

Light showers will occur at a few places in the sea areas extending from Negombo to Matara via Colombo and Galle.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the eastern sea areas.
Winds will be south-westerly in direction in the sea areas around the island and wind speed will be 30-35 kmph.
The sea areas extending from Puttalam to Kankasanturai via Mannar and from Hambantota to Pottuvil can be fairly rough at times as the wind speed can increase up to (40-50) kmph at times.
