The Commanding Officers of the Indian naval ships Tir and Sujatha and the Indian Coast Guard ship Sarathi, which arrived yesterday (2nd Nov.) on a goodwill visit, paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe at the Navy Headquarters.
The Defence Advisor attached to the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka, Captain Ashok Rao was also present on the occasion.
The visiting Commanding Officers also paid floral tribute at the Indian Peace Keeping Force memorial in Battaramulla.
